Position Summary:Associated Wholesale Grocers is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative HGS Promotions & Planning Specialist to join our HGS Planning and Promotions team. In this role, you will serve as a critical support pillar to the HGS Store Planning Manager, working internally across merchandising and center store sales teams, as well as externally with vendors and retailers. Key responsibilities include managing email communications, supporting HGS Show planning, and cross-functional collaboration on all promotional programming.Primary Responsibilities:Communications Management: Create weekly internal and external email communications for retailers and Center Store Sales Execution teams. Manage the HGS Monthly Communication emails, including the creation of selling decks, Ntouch promotions, and email content.HGS Trade Shows: Assist in the planning and execution of biannual HGS shows. This includes designing and creating show materials, preparing show activities, and providing high-level operational support during live show events.Promotion Execution: Build and execute online ordering for promotions via Ntouch. You will collaborate with IT and Salesforce contacts to troubleshoot system issues and ensure seamless promotional delivery to our members.Sales Analysis & Reporting: Utilize advanced Excel skills and internal databases to create comprehensive sales recaps. Compare current performance to prior year data to provide actionable insights to help category management and sales teams increase promotional volume.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience: preferred 1-3 years of CPG or related industry experience, ideally in a grocery environment Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc). Experience with Salesforce and Google Suite preferred. Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and problem-solve Ability to work in a fast paced environment with constantly changing priorities Motivated self-starter with the interpersonal skills required to work with others in a collaborative environment Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc.
