Finance Associate
Job Duties
Oversee and execute Finance Plan with Campaign Manager and finance staff
Oversee fundraising strategy with Campaign Manager
Cultivate, build, and sustain relationships with Stanton donors
Oversee a portfolio of in-state fundraising events (in-person and virtual)
Conduct donor research to help expand campaign network
Work with campaign finance team and event hosts to plan and execute campaign fundraising events to raise funds for Stanton For Congress
Plans and coordinates on and off-site logistics such as: reservations, transportation, food, beverage, decorating and meeting host and candidate expectations
Staff the candidate at events (both in-person and virtually)
Follows up on outstanding pledges and monitors various projects
Assists in compliance and database management
Assists with other tasks as needed
Essential Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work individually and collectively in a fast-paced and changing environment while adhering to strict event/finance deadlines and campaign finance rules
Ability to exercise discretion and responsible independent judgment with attention to detail
Work respectfully, effectively, and tactfully with the public and campaign supporters
Commitment to the values and ideals of the Democratic Party
Job Requirements
This is a full-time, campaign-cycle position. Individuals applying to be the Finance Associate should have at least one cycle of campaign experience in finance.
Salary: $5,000-5,500 per month + health care stipend
