Position Overview
We’re seeking a skilled Breakfast & Lunch Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in preparing high-quality meals, and is eager to contribute to the friendly, community-driven vibe of Tall Firs.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items (including eggs, pancakes, sandwiches, soups, salads, and rotating specials).
Ensure food is cooked to order, beautifully presented, and consistent with our standards.
Manage daily prep work and keep the kitchen organized, clean, and fully stocked.
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering as needed.
Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
Qualifications
Prior cooking experience (preferably in a breakfast/lunch or café setting).
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume environment.
Knowledge of breakfast and lunch cooking techniques.
Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
Team player with a positive, dependable attitude.
Current Oregon food handler’s card (or ability to obtain).

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
