Stone Veneer Installer/Apprentice

Kortman Masonry is a growing masonry business that operates in the greater Grand Rapids area. Kortman Masonry is seeking to add a Stone Veneer Installer to our Residential Masonry crew. Experience in sticking all types of stone, as well as different stone applications would be of great value. Brick laying experience is also a plus. An apprenticeship may be available to a candidate with an interest in becoming a Stone Veneer Installer. The apprenticeship would allow training in not only stone application, but also the process of making mortar and other prep work for ensuring the job is completed correctly. The work performed by our Stone Veneer Installer primarily consists of indoor and outdoor fireplaces, backsplash, outdoor kitchens, exterior stone and are primarily done on newly constructed homes. The Residential Crew consists of 2-5 men and will report to a Foreman on site. Wage is hourly and will be based upon experience, attendance, attitude and job performance. Pay is processed weekly and sent through direct deposit.
