Industrial HVAC Technician

Establish & maintain a positive relationship with customers. Ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing and repairing equipment. Responds to service calls, drive to site, greet customer, performs preventive maintenance and/or troubleshoots malfunctioning systems/equipment to determine the nature of the problem(s). Repairs, replaces and adjusts vents and duct work. Diagnose causes of equipment breakdowns, testing parts with appropriate instruments, disassembling and assembling parts, and making necessary repairs. Explain and obtain customer approval for service charges and work performed to the satisfaction of the customer. Perform repairs of complete systems to include repairing, calibration or replacing controls, switches, thermostats, gauges, wiring fans, pumps, compressors, condenser, furnace, relays, sequencers, ignitors, driers, transformers, piping, all types of motors, and other functional components of the system. Perform inspections and site surveys, and service requests including replacement, and modifications of equipment or systems as needed or requested by customer. Contact supervisor or dispatcher to discuss any problems on the job. Communicate call completion or order any parts that may be necessary. Complete and reconcile work order documents, payments collections, vendor packing slips, fuel receipts, and weekly timesheets for the office on daily/weekly basis. Provide product usage information to the customer for proper operation and preventive maintenance. Test repairs and installation by starting unit and checking pressures with gauges to ensure proper operation. Ensure that all HVAC repairs and installations are accurate, serviceable and that materials used and workmanship meet the requirements of the customer and company. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or commercial HVAC. Valid Driver's License with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI's in previous 5 years. Must have valid Social Security. Must have current TDLR state HVAC registration certification, and EPA certification card. Must have a good attitude and appearance This position is physical and requires you to be able to lift up to 75 - 100lbs. Must agree to a drug test and background check. Participates in the technician on-call stand-by rotation on after hours, weekends and holidays as required. Willing and able to consistently work the schedule required by seasonal job demands. Ability to tolerate extreme environmental conditions consisting of extreme heat and cold. Must have own tools. The company provides you a vehicle, company phone, gas card.
