Job TitleWater / Wastewater Treatment Construction firm that is a Certified General, Mechanical, Plumbing & Pollutant Storage Contractor100% employee owned for close to 10 yearsFull Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, and 401K matchProfit Sharing of 3% to 6% of employee earning (based on company gross profit)Sign on bonusPaid OT and Annual Performance BonusResponsibilities:Superintendent Responsibilities for projects in the Tri-County area of Miami Dade, Broward and Palm BeachManage project costs and budgetManage project workflow and activitiesWeekly Site Visits and Quality ControlMonthly Scheduling of active projects P6 or MS ProjectEstimation of work packages Structural, Mechanical, Geotechnical, DI Piping UG & AGPreparation of Monthly Payment ApplicationsSite Visits and Troubleshooting of construction related issuesDevelopment of Request for InformationPrepare reports, develop plans, and specificationsPrepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projectsManagement of active construction permits, calling inspections and co-ordination with city building departmentsPermitting and preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverablesData entry and analysisCo-ordination of weekly project progress meetingsPreparation of meeting minutesDocumentation of field activitiesParticipate in field activities such as pilot testingQualifications:Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental Engineering3-5 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment plants (WTP/WWTP) constructionMinimum of 10 years of experience managing mechanical process piping projects and/or Municipal Water or Wastewater treatment plants greater than $10M in contract valueExperience with low and high-pressure pipe systems that include liquids or gases and industrial automation/controls in the treatment of Water/WastewaterStrong construction management and project management of Water/Wastewater Conveyance and treatment plants for municipal clientsMaster's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (+)
