DevOps Engineer

Candidates local to Texas preferred!!!About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in automating complex IT environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (CaC), and CI/CD tools. This role is critical for developing scalable, repeatable, and reliable automation solutions across our infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployments, efficient production support, and robust system stability. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, have expertise with cloud platforms, and are passionate about building advanced automation solutions, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Develop, monitor, and optimize batch jobs and operations across various environments.Analyze current technology infrastructure and recommend process improvements for scalability and efficiency.Implement and enhance advanced CI/CD solutions to streamline code deployments.Automate the full life cycle of IT environments, using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.Use configuration management tools to automate updates and fixes for production and non-production environments.Design automation solutions that ensure scalability, recoverability, and repeatability.Support production and non-production environments and related activities, including sprint releases.Document procedures and processes to ensure clear understanding and team collaboration.Skills & Qualifications:Required:10+ years of experience in automating complex enterprise IT environments using IaC, CaC, CI/CD tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.10+ years of experience in designing and implementing advanced automation solutions.8+ years of experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python, GoLang, Shell, or Perl.Strong experience with containerization platforms like Docker or Kubernetes, and packaging tools like Helm and Kustomize.8+ years of experience working with both Linux and Windows operating systems.Expertise in AWS Well-Architected Framework for cloud solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred:5+ years of experience in development using Java, Spring Boot, WebSphere, and Oracle products.Knowledge of WebSphere ND, MQ, LDAP, Splunk, Dynatrace, and related tools.PriceSenz is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
