Staff Accountant

Rampart is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. Hours will be Mon-Fri 8am-5pm or as needed. Location: (Gadsden, Anniston, Birmingham) This role will be primarily remote in Birmingham, AL with the ability to report to the Liberty Park office as needed. 1500 Urban Center Dr Vestavia Hills, AL 35242 Position Summary: The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (or relevant experience will be considered) 3 years of relevant accounting experience required Strong understanding of GAAP Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent organizational and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Key Responsibilities: Process accounts payable and receivable processes as needed Assist in preparing financial reports and variance analyses Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies Collaborate with external auditors during audits Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Perform other accounting duties and projects as assigned Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance ABOUT RAMPART: At Rampart, we’re transforming radiation protection solutions for interventional healthcare teams.
