Journeyman Electrician

Job Description We are currently seeking a motivated and capable Electrician with a minimum of 5 years of experience working on large projects. This position will predominantly focus on commercial projects based in Kansas City, MO.Job Requirements & Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years in an electrician positionKnowledge of the current National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codesAbility to understand and install off of blueprints and specifications that are job specificDeep understanding of both commercial electrical systemsAbility to handle difficult customer issuesExperience with technology and inspecting installation dailyUnderstanding change orders, building plans, and installation manualsA professional approach, able to represent us positively to customers, vendors, and the publicAppropriate certifications and valid driver's licenseElectrical license (preferred but not mandatory)Willingness to pass a background check and drug testDesirable Personal Traits:Adaptable with excellent communication skillsHighly detailed, organized, and ability to work well under pressureSelf-motivated, with the ability to handle rapidly changing priorities and stay hyper-focusedPassionate about their work and professional growthKey Responsibilities:Uphold a safe work environment by strictly following company and OSHA safety guidelines; promptly report any violations to immediate supervisorEnsure all electrical work adheres to or surpasses current NEC and local jurisdiction requirementsInstall electrical wiring and systems for commercial and multifamily projects, which includes pipe bending, wire pulling, and conduit runningExecute projects as contracted and designedWork independently with minimal supervision in a high-paced settingFoster a positive working atmosphereUtilize various electrical tools, ladders, scaffolding, and lifts safelyMaintain equipment to ensure it is in good condition and can operate safely; report any issues to immediate supervisor
