Position DetailsJob Title: Director of Business Delivery – Commercial InsuranceLocation: New York/ New Jersey (Onsite)Job Type - Full TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Director of Business Delivery with deep expertise in Commercial P&C Insurance to lead enterprise-level delivery initiatives and drive successful client outcomes.This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, acting as a strategic bridge between insurance stakeholders (carriers, MGAs, brokers, wholesalers) and internal product, engineering, and delivery teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong domain expertise across the commercial underwriting lifecycle, combined with proven experience in managing large-scale digital transformation or core system implementations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of insurance product and underwriting technology initiativesAct as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business needs into scalable technology solutionsBridge the gap between business stakeholders and internal delivery/engineering teamsDrive successful implementation and adoption of underwriting and distribution platformsPartner with clients to define business requirements and support change management initiativesCollaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to define scope, priorities, and execution plansAnalyze data, identify trends, and build strategic action plans to improve delivery outcomesConduct retrospectives and continuously improve processes and workflowsBuild and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and engagementStreamline underwriting workflows to enable faster decision-making and reduced manual effortRequired QualificationsMinimum 15 years of experience in Commercial Insurance (P&C)Strong understanding of the end-to-end underwriting lifecycle (submission → risk assessment → policy issuance → post-issuance)Proven experience managing enterprise-level technology implementationsExperience in digital transformation or core system replacement programsStrong knowledge of underwriting workflows and insurance product structuresExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skillsAbility to work in ambiguous and fast-changing environmentsStrong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilitiesNote: The salary range provided is indicative.
