Certified Service TechnicianJackson Automotive Group has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Service Technician for our Volkswagen Store in Macon, GA. If you possess any brand certifications and have the skills necessary to diagnose, repair and service vehicles, we want to hear from you!We are willing to assist with relocation, rent, moving expenses and additional factory training. Sign on bonus for the selected qualified candidate based on experience and level of achieved training offered. Pay rate to be determined by the level of achieved training and certifications. This opportunity is for a Flat Rate Technician.RequirementsPerforming maintenance and repair on customer vehiclesIdentifying problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipmentExplaining automotive repairs and issues and providing great customer servicePlanning repair procedures using charts, manuals, and experienceTesting the functionality of parts and systemsInspecting, testing, and replacing partsPerforming routine maintenance tasks on vehicles such as changing oil, checking fluids, and lubricating partsMaintaining knowledge of current industry best practicesMaintaining paperwork and customer recordsEnsuring equipment longevityMaintaining a clean and safe workplaceAdditional Requirements:Knowledge and ability to operate auto repair toolsKnowledge and ability to use diagnostic toolsWell-versed in the use of automotive tools in generalWillingness to participate in in-house training programs
