Property Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and management of multiple properties in the Marion area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, sales, and administrative tasks. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining positive tenant relationships, ensuring property maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely manner, and managing all administrative tasks related to property management. Duties: - Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner - Conduct property tours for potential tenants, showcasing available units and highlighting key features - Negotiate lease agreements and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately - Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and security deposit refunds - Oversee property maintenance and repairs, coordinating with contractors as needed - Maintain accurate records of rental payments, expenses, and other financial transactions - Assist with legal administrative tasks such as eviction proceedings or lease violations - Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety regulations and property standards Experience: - Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred - Strong customer relationship management skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Proficient in data entry and record keeping - Knowledge of legal requirements related to property management is an asset - LIHTC, Rural Development, HOME, CDBG, Section 8 program funding knowledge.
