Apply now for this opportunity at Carex!Carex is partnering with a Healthcare industry partner to identify a Senior Training Implementation Lead to support a large-scale Athena implementation initiative spanning multiple regions through 2027. This leader will partner closely with executive stakeholders, including operational leadership and Learning & Development, to design and execute an enterprise-wide training strategy that supports successful adoption across a complex, multi-site healthcare environment.This role is ideal for an experienced implementation training leader who has previously led Athena training initiatives at scale and understands the operational realities, best practices, and common pitfalls associated with enterprise EHR rollouts. In this role, you will oversee the overall training approach across sites and user groups, coordinate supplemental training resources, and ensure alignment between implementation timelines, operational readiness, and workforce adoption strategies.What You'll DoLead the overall enterprise training strategy and execution for a multi-region Athena implementation initiative through 2027Partner closely with executive leadership, operational stakeholders, and Learning & Development leaders to align training efforts with implementation milestones and organizational goalsDevelop and manage a scalable training framework supporting diverse clinical, operational, and administrative user groups across multiple sitesAdvise on implementation readiness, training best practices, change management considerations, and adoption strategies based on prior Athena implementation experienceEvaluate and identify gaps in training support provided through Athena, making recommendations for supplemental training content, coaching, office hours, and resource augmentationCoordinate and oversee contract trainers, supplemental implementation resources, and training delivery teams supporting rollout effortsEstablish governance, communication, and reporting processes to track training progress, adoption metrics, risks, and escalationsCreate strategies for ongoing learner engagement, reinforcement, and post-go-live support across regionsCollaborate with implementation leadership to ensure training plans are aligned with deployment sequencing and operational workflowsIdentify risks, dependencies, and adoption challenges early and proactively implement mitigation strategiesSupport organizational leaders and site stakeholders through complex change management and operational transformation initiativesEnsure consistency in training standards, learner experience, and readiness assessments across all implementation sitesWhat You'll Bring8+ years of experience leading large-scale healthcare IT training and implementation initiatives, including enterprise EHR deploymentsPrior experience leading or overseeing Athena implementation training efforts requiredDemonstrated success supporting large, dispersed, multi-site rollout programs within complex healthcare organizationsStrong understanding of adult learning principles, implementation readiness, operational workflow adoption, and change management practicesExperience building enterprise training strategies that scale across multiple locations, functions, and stakeholder groupsProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage supplemental contract training resourcesStrong executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders across operational, clinical, and technical teamsExperience developing governance structures, reporting frameworks, and implementation communication strategiesExcellent project management, organizational, and prioritization skills within fast-paced implementation environmentsAbility to anticipate implementation challenges and proactively develop practical solutionsStrong collaboration skills with Learning & Development leaders, implementation teams, and operational leadershipBachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferredCarex Consulting Group is an equal opportunity employer.
