This role maintains the flow of materials, inventory, and shipments to ensure products and supplies are available when needed. This role coordinates transportation, monitors inventory levels, supports warehouse operations. Come grow with us!Position OverviewAs part of the Logistics Team, the Logistics Associate I plays a critical role in producing high-quality transformers efficiently and safely. This role operates within a dynamic and collaborative manufacturing environment where teamwork, integrity, and respect are highly valued. The Logistics Associate I will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure product quality and adherence to safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics workflowEvaluate incoming orders and organize shipping and receiving activities accordinglyHelp keep operations running smoothly and on scheduleMaintain knowledge of product specifications and production/logistics standardsTraining and SafetyFork truck certificationObserve all safety rules and guidelinesMaintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environmentDocumentation and ReportingPerform recordkeeping tasks, including inventory management and order trackingCollaborate with other departments to ensure orders are completed on timeCommunicate effectively with leads, supervisors, and team membersPerform pre-shift and post-shift duties each dayPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods (up to 3 hours continuously, between breaks).Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for line tasks and packing duties.Ability to move within the production area to communicate with other team members and supervisors.Ability to read and understand safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical labels in English.Strong communication skills in English, both for daily operations and during emergencies.Job RequirementsTechnical SkillsProficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as a machinist’s scale, tape measure, and dial calipers to within specified tolerances.Capable of reading and interpreting Bills of Materials (BOM) and Order Management Sheets (OMS).Knowledge of dispensing machine operations and equipment maintenance.Core CompetenciesExcellent time management and organizational skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team.Ability to observe and follow safety standards to maintain a secure working environment.Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain consistent attendance.Protective EquipmentCertified safety glasses or side shields for prescription glasses.Nitrile gloves for handling chemicals.Anti-slip, steel-toed shoes are mandatory.Rubber (anti-fatigue) mats are provided for each workstation.Schedule Mon-Thurs. 5:00AM - 3:30PM and occasional FridaysSome of the benefits of working at HPS Micron Group LLC: Competitive wage - starting wage $17.00Casual dressCompany eventsCompany 401KDental careDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programExtended health careLife AD/D insuranceMedical insuranceOn-site parkingPaid time offTuition reimbursementVision careWe are Great Place to Work Certified!
