Invoicing Specialist

We are a full-service distributor of Generac equipment and solutions providing sales, service and rentals.We are looking for an Invoicing Specialist for our new Sussex facility! The Invoicing Specialist I provides entry-level financial, administrative, and clerical support to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer and vendor invoices.Responsibilities:Performs basic review of customer invoices for completeness and accuracyEnters vendor invoices into the accounting system following established proceduresElectronically files vendor invoices and required documentationResponds to routine vendor and customer inquiries, escalating complex issuesAssists with compiling information for weekly payment runsMaintains organized financial records and support clerical tasksCollaborates with A/R and senior staff by providing documentation as requestedForwards issues related to tax questions or credit discrepancies to senior staffMinimum Job Requirements:High School Diploma or GED0–1+ years in invoicing, billing, AP, or administrative experienceKnowledge / Skills / AbilitiesCommunication, customer service, attention to detail, time managementFamiliarity with accounting systems or financial data entryPreferred Job RequirementsFamiliarity with accounting systems or financial data entryPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.Generac is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly compensation range for this role based in Marlabrough, MA is $23.30 - $32.62 per hour. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications and geographic location.
