Job Description:tackle new and evolving ship design and integration engineering challenges by applying naval architecture principles, techniques, calculations, procedures, and criteriacover the full range of ship design phases from conceptual design through detail design, and post-delivery supportsupport the continued maturation of ship design solutions across all phases of designHydrostatics (weight estimates, intact/damage stability assessments)Hydrodynamics (hull design, resistance predictions, seakeeping assessments)Arrangements (general arrangements, compartment outfitting, aviation integration, topside integration)Overall ship design integrationRequirement's developmentExecuting naval architecture analysesWorking with multi discipline teams to lead overall ship development and design integrationLeading and successfully executing trade studies and requirements developmentPreparing and presenting technical reports and engineering documentationProactively interfacing with customers and other stakeholders to discuss design progressRequirements:U.S. Citizenship and ability to acquire Secret Security ClearanceActive Secret clearance preferredBS or Advanced Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering4+ years of professional engineering experienceExperience leading/guiding multidisciplinary technical teams preferredProficiency in Naval Architecture software tools such as: RHINO, GHS, SHCP, NavCAD, AutoCAD, MS-OfficeBenefits:competitive compensationHealth and Wellness programsIncome ProtectionPaid LeaveRetirement
