Senior Java Developer

Senior Java DeveloperCGI is looking to hire a Java developer specializing in building secure, scalable, and high performance RESTful and event driven APIs to work on projects for one of the largest financial institutions in US in a challenging technical environment and gain exposure of advanced tools and technology suites. This role will require someone at our client site 5 days a week in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, or Dallas, TX.Duties and Responsibilities:Design development and implementation of Java RESTful services that integrates Angular UI or with external client systemsAnalyzes user requirements and defines technical project scope and assumptions for assigned tasksCreates technical designs for new systems, and/or modifications to existing systemsTranslates detailed requirements into functional system designsWork closely with internal and external design, business, and technical counterpartsRequirements:Minimum 6+ years overall experience6+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services (Java/J2EE development with REST API, Spring Boot, Openshift Container, Angular, XML, JSON, UML, Jenkins, Swagger)4+ years building containerized micro services and deploying container apps4+ years of GitHub, Jenkins and CI/CD server3+ Experience Integrating with Angular user interfaceExperience writing unit tests for JavaScript code.Works independently within a team environment in one of the applicationsProficiency in using Co Pilot for coding efficiencyExperience using Agile methodologies for developing applicationCompensation and Benefits:A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 - $156,700.00.
