Jr. Java Software Developer

Role OverviewNinth Wave is seeking a Jr. Java Software Developer who is eager to learn about our company by assisting various projects for our technical teams. Candidate You will work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, and test application code that meets business and technical objectives. They will collaborate to maintain and patch systems, software, and applications to eliminate bug fixes, security vulnerabilities and maintain technology currency of systems and applications.To be successful, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. The Job will offer the opportunity to learn Docker, Reactive, Cloud, and Kubernetes while updating and maintaining our software.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain back-end software using Java and related frameworksCollaborate with senior engineers in code reviews and agile development practicesUpdate and maintain technical documentationSupport bug fixes, security updates, and system improvementsParticipate in a distribute development team and contribute to team meetingsQualificationsSenior currently enrolled in a Computer Science or related programProficient in Java, ideally with exposure to RESTful APIsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsMinimum of 3.0 GPA preferredCompany OverviewNinth Wave is a permission-based SaaS platform that delivers secure data connectivity to financial institutions, offering configurable controls, visibility, and insights into all connections between aggregators, third-party apps, and internal applications.
