The physician’s duties will be to conduct orthopedic focused exams and performing joint injections and bone marrow procedures in an out-patient setting for our clinic (training provided if needed). The right candidate will be seeing patients, reviewing patient charts to determine the best possible course of action and treatment for their pain. This position offers exceptional flexibility, allowing for part-time work (10-30hrs/week). You’ll work alongside a strong team of MDs, NPs, PAs, Nurses, CMAs, Phlebotomists, and Administrative Staff in a supportive, team-oriented environment. This role is ideal for a physician looking to focus on patient care without the burden of on-call or holiday work. We have offices in Rocky Hill and Simsbury, and the physician must be willing to commute to those offices as needed. We will consider a variety of physicians in one of the following preferred specialties: Emergency Medicine, Pain Management, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, PM&R, or Anesthesiology.About UsWe specialize in the use of advanced regenerative medicine to treat arthritis, sports related injuries, and chronic pain. The NP/PA’s examine patients and perform joint and trigger point injections in our physical medicine office. We provide concierge medicine; the patients are seeking high quality care not covered by insurance and we strive to make them comfortable and educated about the procedures so that they are satisfied in undergoing the treatments offered.DutiesConduct physical exams and assessments for patients with musculoskeletal issuesReview imaging (X-rays, MRIs), patient history, and diagnose and develop treatment plans to treat tendinopathies and musculoskeletal conditionsPerform bone marrow aspiration procedures and ultrasound guided injections (we provide training if needed)Support advanced practice providers, as neededEnsure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standardsMaintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulationsCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, as needed, regarding treatment options and care plansRequirements:Board Certified/Board Eligible in one of the following preferred specialties: Emergency Medicine, Pain Management, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, PM&R, or AnesthesiologyExperience in joint injections and the use of ultrasound requiredMD or DO License to Practice Medicine in CTA collaborative, patient-focused attitude, and an interest in regenerative medicineWillingness to commute to Rocky Hill and/or Simsbury (Required)Schedule:Part time (10-30 hrs per week)Compensation :$1,250 -$1,500 per day + Bonus compensationBenefits:Malpractice insuranceProfessional advancement with training providedWe are looking for a candidate where specialty is secondary to attitude and outlook, someone who has an appreciation for the concept of regenerative medicine, an expansive view of healing and someone who understands concierge medicine and can deliver that experience.
