EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Marion County is hiring a temporary employee to work in the tax office for the 2024 property tax season. The employees will need to be available from approximately October 14, 2024, to November 22, 2024, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break. The selected employees will be expected to be reliable, punctual, and maintain regular attendance. The duties include posting payments received over the counter and through the mail to the correct corresponding account(s); Some minor research to assist with mailings; Substantial 10-key work. A high degree of data entry speed and accuracy is essential for this position, along with a public service-oriented personality.
