The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. Job Title Mainframe Developer Key Responsibilities Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Proficient in coding in one or more languages Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security Hands-on experience in -Z/OS COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CA7, Changeman/Endeavor Mainframe application development suits and WebSphere MQ messaging solution Experience in creating API using zO/S connect & Kafka integration is a plus Demonstrated knowledge and work experience on AWS is a plus Minimum Qualifications Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Proficient in coding in one or more languages Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security Hands-on experience in Z/OS COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CA7, Changeman/Endeavor Mainframe application development suits and WebSphere MQ messaging solution Experience in creating API using zO/S connect & Kafka integration is a plus Demonstrated knowledge and work experience on AWS is a plus Desired Qualifications Familiarity with modern front-end technologies Knowledge on banking domain & credit card is a plus Exposure to cloud technologies Exposure to JAVA Location Position Information Jersey City,07310 This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for a bonus based on the achievement of mutually agreed KRAs. Salary Range:The salary for this position is between $100,000 – $110,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
