Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Experience with food industry POS systems and a background in fine dining or hospitality is preferred. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while providing memorable dining experiences.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using cashiering systems
Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and reset tables promptly for new guests
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues
Assist with food handling, sanitation, and overall restaurant cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Support host/host duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations
Experience
Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly desirable, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue generation
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
Prior experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or cashiering roles will be advantageous

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
