Transportation Support Specialist
```Job Overview```
We are seeking a reliable candidate to join our team as a Transportation Support Specialist. As a Driver-Transport Support Specialist, you will be responsible for safely transporting of members in early recovery to their designated locations. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
```Duties```
-Drive residents in early recovery to/from work, medical appointments, or other assigned locations. Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including a mini van and a 15 passenger van Ford Transit to transport members to work and back to the Recovery Village.
-Regular Driver's License required with no insurance points or traffic citations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules.
-Schedule will most often be 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. varied days of the week.
- Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of transports, including keeping transportation logs.
- Communicate effectively with our clients.
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a Van Driver, or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with driving regulations and safety standards
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
-Person must be a minimum of 25 years old.
-Prefer person in recovery for a minimum of 2 years and is passionate about helping others establish their own recovery.
