Sr Embedded Software Engineer, c/c++, python, ROS, Matlab, Algorithms, Embedded Robotics/UAV

We are looking for support to deploy, refine, optimize, and program algorithms from Matlab/python into c/c++ to run on embedded compute within autonomous UAV/robotics --- Minimum requirements * Experienced C++ development on Linux * Deploy python algorithms to NVIDIA and Qualcomm chips * Emphasis on building and interfacing with multi-threaded applications * Comfortable with full project ownership from prototyping to deployment * Highly comfortable with testing and debugging * Proficient in Linux * Highly comfortable with Bash * Experience with NVIDIA GeForce or NVIDIA Jetson * ROS/ROS2 * Experience with using hardware accelerated video encoders * Experience with Docker --- If you have worked on the PX4 stack, we would love to hear from you. --- We are a hybrid office in the Los Angeles area, we include a work-from-home setups, some in person days, and UAV flight testing days Must be in the SoCal/greater Los Angeles area in order to meet in person every so often --- Must be a US citizen Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: $100,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) matching Application Question(s): * Would love to hear a bit about your experience with c/c++, deploying complex algorithms in c/c++, experience in Matlab, and any robotics/UAV and/or embedded systems programming, Bullet points are much appreciated Looking forward to connecting Work Location: In person
