RN Coordinator
*RN Coordinator needed for OPWDD agency providing services to the developmentally disabled.*
Reporting to the Director of Nursing Services, the RN Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of nursing services including any outstanding nursing personnel issue.
*Duties and Responsibilities *
* Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and enhance the quality of services.
* Oversee the day-to-day management of assigned IRA’s, ICF, ensuring adherence to OPWDD regulations and Agency policies.
* Ensure all services and supports reflect person-centered planning principles and promote community inclusion, independence, and dignity for Individuals.
* Review and monitor individualized plans, including Life Plans, IPOP (Individual Plan of Protection), and Habilitation Plans to ensure alignment with Individuals’ needs and preferences.
* Ensure the maintenance and safety facilities, in collaboration with the Facilities Management Department.
* Conduct in-person site visits during morning, evening and overnight shifts to assess service delivery, monitor staff performance, and ensure compliance.
* Provide emergency on-call coverage and respond to crises as needed.
* Collaborate with Nursing, Psychology, and other departments to coordinate services.
* Complete required reports and documentation as directed.
* Attend in-person Agency meetings, OPWDD trainings, and relevant professional development opportunities.
* Perform other duties as assigned. Staff Supervision and Development.
* Directly lead Residence Supervisors and provide guidance on programming, staffing, budgeting and compliance.
* Provide ongoing feedback to the team and oversee the performance management process, ensuring evaluations are fair, consistent, and of high quality.
* Ensure staff are trained on topics that enhance their performance and meet regulatory training requirements.
* Collaborate with Human Resources on staffing decisions, and support recruitment, hiring, and retention efforts*. *
* Work with the Human Resources and Union, and when necessary, Senior and Executive Management to address personnel issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions in alignment with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
*Salary*
$110,000 to $120,000 a year
