Join us to build the future.Your ImpactAs Electrical Superintendent, you’ll oversee and manage all electrical work and staff within data center projects—ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality execution that drives project success.Your Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesOversee all electrical aspects of data center construction and maintenance projects.Plan and schedule electrical work, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.Lead and supervise a team of journeyman electricians, foreman, and apprentices in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations to team members.Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and company policies.Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, lighting, and control systems.Conduct and supervise routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure functionality and safety.Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical issues, implementing effective solutions.Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and practices.Inspect completed work to verify compliance with specifications and standards.Address and rectify any issues or deficiencies promptly as directed by the EFO QA/QC Manager.Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.Prepare reports on project status, team performance, and any incidents or issues.Communicate effectively with upper management and supervisors regarding project updates and requirements.Respond promptly to emergency situations, including power outages and system failures, to minimize downtime.QualificationsMinimum of 8 years of experience as a journeyman electrician, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or foreman role, preferably in a data center or similar environment.Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to read and interpret technical documents, and proficiency with electrical tools and equipment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to self-motivate and manage workflow.Excellent knowledge of electrical and safety codes and regulations.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and in a team setting.Valid journeyman electrician license (Preferred).Additional certifications (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E) are a plus.Valid driver's license.BenefitsCompetitive salary and performance bonus (if applicable)Paid time off401(k) retirement plan with company matchComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceFirst time homebuyer program (if applicable, based off comp)Collaborative, high-energy workplaceOur Core ValuesSafety - Proactively fosters a culture of safety in our work environment.Inclusion - Appreciates and respects individuals from diverse backgrounds, identities, values, and cultures.Speed - Operates with a sense of urgency, recognizing the competitive advantage of being swift and responsive.Innovation - Consistently seeks opportunities to simplify processes and continuously improve.Judgment - Ability to exercise discretion and lead initiatives autonomously.Accountability - Ability to hold self and others to the highest of standards.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentEmployees must be able to hear, speak, and communicate effectively. Work occurs in data center environments with potential exposure to electrical hazards, noise, and varying temperatures. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, may be required. Physical requirements include bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead. Must lift at least 50 lbs, raise arms above shoulder level, and perform overhead work for extended periods. The ability to climb and carry ladders (up to 12 ft), navigate stairways, and work at heights up to 90 ft using ladders, scaffolds, or lifts is essential. Employees must access restricted areas (e.g., switchgear rooms, vaults, tunnels, crawl spaces) and wear full PPE. Good vision and hearing (normal or corrected) and accurate color identification are required. Some projects may lack food facilities, so bringing meals and snacks is necessary.
