Baseball Coordinator

Shipyard Sports and Events Center is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Baseball Coordinator to join our team! This position involves working one-on-one with athletes and leading team clinics to develop skills and elevate performance. Utilizing our state-of-the-art turf fieldhouse, batting cages, and upcoming cutting-edge batting cage technology, the Baseball Coordinator will play a pivotal role in fostering athletic growth and excellence. Candidates with prior experience using Hit Trax technology are highly preferred. *Key Responsibilities:* * Conduct one-on-one training sessions to improve athletes’ baseball skills, including hitting, pitching, and fielding. * Lead team clinics designed to enhance teamwork, technique, and overall performance. * Utilize the facility's turf fieldhouse, batting cages, and advanced technology to deliver high-quality training programs. * Develop personalized training plans based on individual or team goals and monitor progress. * Create a positive and motivating environment to inspire athletes to achieve their potential. * Ensure proper safety protocols and techniques are followed during all sessions. * Collaborate with the facility's team to plan and execute baseball programs and events. *Qualifications:* * Previous experience in baseball coaching, training, or related roles. * Strong knowledge of baseball mechanics, drills, and training techniques. * Familiarity with Hit Trax or similar baseball performance technology is highly desirable. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide athletes. * Ability to work effectively with athletes of all ages and skill levels. * Relevant certifications in sports performance or coaching are a plus.
