Title-RN Med Surg/Tele Location-Kalamazoo, MI Shift-Days and Nights Contract Duration- 13 weeks Both 36 and 48 Hrs schedule Pay package for 36 hrs Weekly Gross- $2326/weekly Stipend Included in Gross - $1246/weekly w2 rate- $30/hr Pay package for 48 hrs Weekly Gross- $3105/weekly Stipend Included in Gross - $1246/weekly w2 rate- $37.75/hr Summary As a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry, you will utilize your core skills in catheterization, IV insertion, and patient care to provide high-quality medical assistance. Your premium skills in critical care experience and cardiac catheterization will be instrumental in delivering specialized care to patients. Additionally, your relevant skills in airway management and experience with children will enhance your ability to provide comprehensive healthcare services. With a focus on nursing, bariatrics, and telemetry, along with certifications in BLS, ACLS, and Medical-Surgical Nursing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of patients in a dynamic healthcare setting. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical and telemetry units, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures. Utilize advanced nursing skills such as catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding as needed. Document patient information accurately in EMR and EHR systems. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Stay updated on best practices and technologies in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all patient interactions.
