Server Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will support the serving staff by ensuring that guests receive exceptional service while maintaining a clean and organized dining area. This role is crucial in enhancing the overall guest experience and requires strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately. Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and dining areas by bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Support food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Operate POS systems, such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, to assist with order entry and payment processing. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests from guests. Help with banquet service, including setting up and breaking down events as required. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs efficiently. Assist in maintaining inventory levels of supplies and report shortages to management. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or Micros POS, is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A background in culinary, hospitality, or hotel services is advantageous but not mandatory. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
