Our focus is on scratch-made cuisine and elevated guest experiences. We’re looking for a dynamic bartender who brings as much personality to the bar as they do skill to the shaker. The Role As a Bartender at Counter Culture, you are the "heartbeat" of the guest experience. You will craft signature brunch cocktails—think artisanal mimosas and Instagram-worthy bloody marys—while maintaining a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere for locals and tourists alike. Key Responsibilities Drink Crafting: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately according to house recipes. Bar Service: Tend to guests at the bar, providing full service while preparing beverages for the entire restaurant. Guest Engagement: Greet guests warmly, provide menu recommendations, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a high-quality experience. Bar Operations: Set up, break down, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout the shift. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, prep fresh garnishes daily, prep batches and infusions as needed, and communicate low or 86d items. Financial Accuracy: Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using our POS system, Toast. Responsible Service: Verify guest identification for legal drinking age and monitor for signs of intoxication to ensure a safe environment. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service across the restaurant. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 2+ years of bartending experience in a fast-paced or high-volume restaurant preferred. Compliance: Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess (or be willing to obtain) required certifications like TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol. Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for 8–10 hour shifts and lift items up to 50 lbs (e.g., kegs or cases). Personality: A positive, "team-first" attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
