Role Description This is a full-time on-site position for a New and Used Commercial Truck Sales Professional based in Meridian, MS. In this role, you will cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, identify customer needs, and provide expert guidance to match them with suitable new or used commercial trucks. Responsibilities include managing the sales process from initial inquiry to post-sale support, collaborating with the financing team, staying updated on current inventory, and meeting sales targets. You will also represent Empire Truck Sales with professionalism and a client-focused approach. Qualifications Proven sales skills, including negotiation, closing strategies, and building customer relationshipsStrong understanding of commercial vehicle features, market trends, and customer needs in the trucking industryOrganizational skills for managing customer accounts, contracts, and transactionsEffective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse clientsProficiency with CRM software and sales tools for tracking client interactions and sales progressSelf-motivated and results-driven personality with the ability to meet sales goalsValid driver’s license and ability to occasionally travel, if requiredPrevious experience in truck sales, automotive sales, or equivalent is preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus
