Our ideal candidate will work with engineering, design, and product management teams to build infrastructure and products for the Treehouse applications and platform at scale. In this role, you'll set the foundation for building robust, scalable, and intuitive products.In Addition, You WillArchitect and build high-quality, performant, and scalable solutionsLead large projects from initial inception to productionCollaborate with cross-functional teams to solve customer needsContinuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and teamRecruit, interview, and develop interview questions while fostering a culture of excellence, velocity, and humilityParticipate in road mapping and architecture discussionsInspire and mentor less experienced engineers and internsSuccessful Candidates Will Demonstrate4+ years of software engineering experienceExperience developing large-scale distributed systemsExperience leading large multi-quarter efforts demonstrating tangible customer or business impactExperience with cloud technologies, e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or KubernetesBS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related fieldExperience with one of Java, Scala, C++, NodeJS, or similar languagesExperience with security and systems that handle sensitive dataGood knowledge of SQLThis position may be remote, hybrid, or in-person.
