Behavioral Health Professional
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Professional to join our mental health team. This role involves providing comprehensive support and therapeutic services to individuals facing mental health challenges. Duties
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to clients’ needs
Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams
Utilize art therapy techniques to facilitate emotional expression and healing
Provide education on psychopharmacology as part of medication management support
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with healthcare regulations
Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with mental health best practices
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field; licensure or certification preferred
Experience or training in art therapy, psychopharmacology, and gender issues counseling is highly desirable
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients
Excellent communication skills for effective client engagement and team collaboration
Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, discretion, and professionalism
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth in behavioral health practices
Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
