Assembler

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Assembler, where your hands-on skills and attention to detail will play a vital role in creating high-quality electronic and mechanical components. As an integral part of our production process, you will assemble complex electro-mechanical systems, interpret detailed schematics, and ensure that all products meet rigorous quality standards. Your contributions will help drive innovation and excellence in our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Perform assembly, repair, inspection, and testing operations on medical devices and related components according to established procedures. Follow written work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality requirements, and verbal instructions. Maintain accurate and current manufacturing documentation for assigned cell operations. Complete travelers, production records, and quality documentation accurately and maintain product traceability. Identify and communicate quality concerns, process issues, and potential improvements to appropriate manufacturing personnel. Use electronic data collection systems and computer software to document production activities. Support manufacturing quality and productivity goals while maintaining compliance with applicable procedures. Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Work with Manufacturing Supervisors and Managers to monitor cell performance and individual goals. Prioritize assignments based on established production requirements, sequencing, and job importance. Safely handle and maneuver small components and precision parts. Make appropriate decisions within the scope of established procedures and escalate issues when necessary. Follow all applicable safety procedures and properly use required safety devices and personal protective equipment. Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other applicable regulatory requirements. Maintain a professional and positive attitude when interacting with coworkers, management, internal customers, and visitors. Support facility tours and interact professionally with external customers when requested. Participate in divisional initiatives and other manufacturing activities as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in manufacturing, assembly, medical device production, electronics, precision manufacturing, or a related environment is preferred. Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions. Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation. Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic data collection systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts. Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple routine assignments. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats. Ability to work effectively under close supervision while following established procedures. Ability to identify issues and communicate problems or potential solutions to manufacturing leadership. Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred. Pay: $18.00 - $19.25 per hour Work Location: In person
