Through building a loyal customer base and driving positive sales results, our Stylists are true brand ambassadors with roll-up-your-sleeves mentalities and an have excitement for our products and the impact they have on our customers’ lives.Essential Job Duties (reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties).Achieve Sales ResultsCreate a positive, friendly, and consultative service-oriented customer environment that prioritizes customer relationships and sets Hammer Made apart from other stores.Drives personal daily and weekly sales results to meet monthly targets.Handles customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures; escalates issues as appropriate.Offers suggestions to the leadership team about how to improve daily sales trends.Operational ExpectationsEnsures company standards of neat, clean and organized sales floor, cash wrap and fitting room areas are met.Take part in visual merchandising initiatives. Help execute and ensure a top quality, appealing, merchandise assortment that promotes effective sales and store traffic.Assists with promotion of in-store events and promotions to increase the customer base, with particular focus on building the Hammer Made brand.Collaborates effectively with other store locations and with outside Business Partners as needed.Requirements:CompetenciesInterest and knowledge in fashion and the men’s apparel industryExcellent selling skillsExcellent communication skills including strong relationship building skillsKind, Compassionate, and a Customer-First MentalityGreat team player, and also able to take initiative with clients and drive salesAttention to detailEffective organizational skillsExcellent time management skillsAbility to receive feedback and take action when appropriateProblem solving skills that can adapt in an ever-changing retail environmentRegular and predictable attendanceEducation and Experience RequirementsHigh School diploma1-2 years of successful retail experience and/or customer service experience, preferredSupervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.Work Environment: This job operates in a retail store environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Physical requirements include: standing and being mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time, walking, stooping, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This can be a full or part-time position with hours scheduled at variable times and days each week to meet business needs. Schedules include day and evening shifts, weekends and holidays.Travel : This position does not include out of town travel.
