The Ideal Candidate demonstrates strong expertise in the assessment, deployment, and management of multiple endpoint security tools within a defense/government environment.Position DetailsTitle: Senior Endpoint Security EngineerLocation: 100% RemoteExperience: Minimum 7 yearsClearance: Active Secret Clearance (required)Certification: DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g., Security+) Key ResponsibilitiesLead deployment, configuration, and management of multiple endpoint security solutionsDesign and implement endpoint security for on-prem and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environmentsPerform threat monitoring, alert triage, and incident response supportDevelop and enforce security policies and compliance standardsWork within Agile teams, utilizing Jira for project tracking and deliveryDrive continuous improvement and automation across endpoint security processesCreate documentation, SOPs, and provide mentoring/trainingRequired Skills & Experience7+ years in IT/Cybersecurity with strong endpoint security expertiseHands-on experience with tools such as:Trellix, Tanium, CrowdStrike, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) (priority order)Experience with additional tools (e.g., Symantec, SentinelOne, Carbon Black) is a plusFamiliarity with Oracle Cloud, API integrations, and SIEM toolsExperience working in DoD or compliance-driven environmentsStrong experience in Agile methodologies and JiraPreferred CertificationsMicrosoft Security Operations Analyst (or similar for MDE)CrowdStrike Falcon Certification (CCFA or higher)OCI CertificationTanium / Trellix certificationsCompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent
