This is an excellent opportunity to work remotely within the U.S. for a private equity-backed, fast-growing organization that thrives on innovation and agility.Why Raintree Systems?Remote Flexibility: Work from anywhere in our approved statesImpactful Role: Shape our finance function, work closely with senior management, and drive efficiencies that matterGrowth-Oriented: We offer the tools and autonomy you need to make a lasting impact on our financial strategyDuties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing and revenue recognitionProduces the monthly, quarterly financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with GAAP principles; highlight significant Actual vs. Budget variancesDevelops and maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; recommends changes and implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize riskWorks with external auditors and tax firm and provides needed information for the annual auditOversees employee expense reimbursements, commission tracking and recommends/implements process efficienciesEnsures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirementsProvides updates to benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performanceHelps develop and support short- and long-term operational strategiesPosition Proficiencies and RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least 10 years of relevant experience within the Enterprise Software industryCPA highly preferredExcellent knowledge of GAAP & Revenue RecognitionExperience working with Private Equity owned businessesWorking knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reportingMust be proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with CRM/ERP systems and SaaS billing platformsExperience managing the financial close processTreasury and cash management experienceExperience facilitating and managing the year end audit processCompetencies to Drive SuccessExceptional attention to detailExcellent organizational and time management skillsAble to work under pressure with tight deadlines and without support infrastructures commonly found in large, mature companiesGreat communication skills and ability to present data and analysis to senior managementExcellent leadership skills with the ability and enthusiasm towards process improvement and team buildingAbility to work in fast paced, dynamic environment with confidenceMust be a driven self-starter with ability to work independentlyAre you ready to join a team that values innovation, agility, and excellence?
