We are seeking to fill the position of Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN. * Hourly Pay range = $35.35 to $38.16 based on experience plus an addl. 10% forevening & night shift.Part-Time shifts available. Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Qualifications:Current LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the State of New York.Current BLS certification.Minimum of 1 years' experience in a long-term care setting or a new graduatewith the desire to learn.Knowledgeable DOH/CMS regulations and Electronic Health Records preferred. Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Job Summary:Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to nursing supervisor andinitiating corrective action immediately.Observe residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects ofmedications etc.Monitor residents' condition including fluid intake and output and composepatient charts.Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.Communicate with residents' family or friends to provide advice, comfort andrelease instructions.
