Senior Risk Reporting Analyst

OverviewThe Senior Risk Reporting Analyst will be responsible for generating, validating, maintaining and enhancing various reports for the Credit Department, Lending and Risk Management. These reports will be used by Credit Administration and management to monitor the performance of the Bank's loan portfolios and other risks. Responsibilities also include active involvement in the testing of the nCino lending platform.ResponsibilitiesOfficer and multiple business units. The Senior Risk Reporting Analyst will interact with management to aggregate and analyze risk information by developing and maintaining quantitative analytics, analyzing risk data, and enhancing the risk reporting infrastructure to develop and deliver efficient and meaningful risk reporting that captures risk/performance data across the highest levels of management and committees. This includes members of Executive Management and the Board of Directors.Produces monthly and quarterly, as well as ad hoc requests and audit specific reportingProactively works to convert existing Bank reporting into nCino loan reporting systems or PowerBI while identifying opportunities to improve or streamline the existing procedures.Provides detailed reporting requirements to the Business Intelligence team, guides the development of new reports, and validates newly created reports.Maintains up-to-date written procedures for all reports produced by the department.Performs nCino and other lending system testing and validation to ensure alignment with ongoing reportability goals.Observes and communicates the status, trends, and risks of the Bank's loan portfoliosUndertakes other analysis and research assignments as directed by Chief Credit Risk Officer and Credit Administration Manager.Other duties, as assigned.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, the individual needs to have a very good blend of analytical skills, and experience in reporting in the banking industry. Bachelor's degree or three years of comparable work experience considered.Must exhibit strong organizational skills with attention to detailMust be able to work on multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.Must have a good understanding of data structure and have experience with loan coding in both core banking applications and loan origination systems.Specific experience in COCC and nCino is helpful.Must understand credit risk and have a working knowledge of how loans are categorized and measured for credit and regulatory purposes.Possesses experience in reporting systems including PowerBI.Additional experience with Crystal, Microsoft Access and the nCino Loan Origination Module reports is helpful.Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate composition of loan portfolios and be able to identify & explain changes in the portfolio.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPointExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)The individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
