Job Summary: Quora is a question-and-answer platform that allows users to ask and answer questions on a wide range of topics. They are seeking a talented iOS Engineer to join their team in building Poe, a platform at the forefront of AI, where the engineer will design, develop, and maintain the iOS app while collaborating with the product team to implement new features. Responsibilities: • Work within a small team of mobile engineers to design, build, and maintain the Poe iOS app • Build new user-facing features and help drive the Poe product roadmap • Create tools and infrastructure to enable rapid development of the Poe mobile experience • Collaborate with the Poe product team and other engineers to enhance the overall user experience • Own the entire software development process from timeline estimation to coding, testing and release Qualifications: Required: • Ability to be available for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's "coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time) • 2+ years of full-time experience in iOS development with Swift • Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks, and mobile trends • High attention to detail in all aspects of development from performance to UI • A desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment and learn continuously • Self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility; whether it be fixing bugs in a timely manner or proactively identifying issues in order to unblock yourself for a given project Preferred: • Experience with SwiftUI or GraphQL • Interest in working in the AI space Company: Quora is a question-and-answer platform that allows users to ask and answer questions on a wide range of topics.
