Mainstream Fiber is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Apprenticeship Program. With our comprehensive training and development opportunities, you'll gain the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in this dynamic field. Position: Fiber to the Home Apprentice Starting Pay: $18 per hour Program Overview: Initial Training Period: First 90 days of employment Hands-on training in Nashville, IN for 10 days (Monday thru Friday) Introduction to Fiber Optics Utility Pole Climbing and Ladder Certification Bucket Truck Operation Certification Fall Protection Certification Aerial Fiber Placement Certification Introduction to Buried Fiber Optics Fiber Plowing Certification Comprehensive training to build state of the art fiber optic network Report to designated OSP Office for Field training to apply newly acquired skills. Transition Period: 90 to 180 days of employment Initial Training period ends with evaluation and pay increase. Position placement with a trained team, assigned title, and job duties. Career Development Phase: Following 180 days of employment Ongoing evaluation to track progress and growth with placement position.
