The company targets 4-6 projects annually, focusing on multi-million-dollar custom homes, large scale renovations, and highly detailed residential construction where quality, communication, and precision are critical.The company has built a strong reputation for transparency, craftsmanship, and delivering exceptional client experiences for homeowners.They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Superintendent who can take full ownership of complex luxury residential projects from start to finish. This person will function as the true leader of the project—owning field execution, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, client communication, and overall project success.This role is ideal for someone who may currently be operating as a high-level Superintendent, On-Site PM, Construction Manager, or Senior Project Manager and is looking for a long-term opportunity with a clear path into Director of Construction leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesTake full ownership of high-end luxury residential construction projects from construction mobilization through final completionManage custom home projects with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining clear alignment with ownershipOversee daily field operations, subcontractor coordination, project schedules, budgets, and quality controlServe as the primary point of contact for homeowners and maintain exceptional client relationships throughout the project lifecycleCoordinate with architects, interior designers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project executionManage RFIs, change orders, scheduling, project documentation, and field problem-solvingUtilize Buildertrend for project management and scheduling, and Bluebeam for RFIs, submittals and drawing coordinationEnsure exceptional craftsmanship and uphold the highest standards of quality throughout constructionOperate independently and confidently without requiring constant oversight from ownershipSupport company growth by helping improve structure, processes, and operational leadershipRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Senior Superintendent, Construction Manager, or On-Site PM within high-end custom residential constructionProven experience managing multi-million-dollar custom homes and/or major luxury renovationsStrong understanding of architect-driven residential construction projectsExperience leading field operations, managing subcontractors, and driving projects from start to finishAbility to manage schedules, budgets, quality control, and homeowner communicationStrong client-facing communication skills and professional presenceExperience working directly with homeowners, architects, and design professionalsAbility to independently run complex projects with minimal oversightStrong leadership mindset with high accountability and ownership mentalityProficiency with Buildertrend and Bluebeam, or demonstrated ability to adopt new project management and field documentation platforms quicklyPreferred Skills & TraitsHampton Roads or Eastern Shore of Virginia construction experience strongly preferred; coastal and waterfront residential experience a plusExperience with large-scale custom homes, estate renovations, or architecturally complex residential buildsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentGrowth mindset with long-term interest in leadership and operational managementFlexible, team-first attitude with willingness to step outside of strict job descriptions when neededStrong field leadership with the confidence to make decisions and solve problems proactivelySelf-starter mentality with high standards for craftsmanship, professionalism, and accountability
