Cloud Engineer (Development, Security, and Operations)
Overview
In this role you will lead the architecture, security, and operational excellence of enterprise Azure platforms and CI/CD pipelines. You will drive DevSecOps standards and embed security across the delivery lifecycle, partnering with cross-functional teams to enable scalable, secure cloud solutions including AI workloads. You’ll mentor engineers and act as a subject-matter expert in DevSecOps, Azure architecture, and security automation. ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership for Azure DevSecOps platforms ensuring secure, scalable cloud environmentsDesign, implement, and govern end-to-end CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines aligned to enterprise standards and complianceEmbed security controls, scanning, and policy-as-code across infrastructure, applications, and data delivery pipelinesAutomate Azure infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code for enterprise-scale deploymentsBuild and support containerized platforms and orchestration for cloud-native and hybrid workloadsMaintain Azure environments supporting production systems, modernization, and on-prem migrationsCollaborate with application, data, and AI teams to secure enterprise applications and AI workloadsEstablish and maintain reusable CI/CD components and frameworksDefine and enforce DevSecOps best practices, standards, and governance across teamsEnable Agile delivery through DevSecOps tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Confluence)Design Azure environments for AI workloads, including private networking and restricted egressMentor engineers and act as DevSecOps/Azure security SME
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Information Systems or equivalent practical experienceSeven+ years of DevSecOps/cloud engineering/enterprise software delivery experienceAdvanced experience with CI/CD pipelines across build, test, security, and deploymentExpertise with Microsoft Azure services (networking, identity, security, platform services)Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Bicep, ARM, Terraform)Experience designing/operating container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)Deep knowledge of application and cloud security practices (SAST, DAST, compliance)Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications and AI workloads in AzureWorking knowledge of Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Studio) Agent ServiceExperience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot)Azure certifications preferred (AZ-400, AZ-500, AZ-204, AI-200, SC-500)Strong collaboration with cross-functional teamsMentorship and subject-matter expertiseStrategic thinking and governanceAzure cloud engineeringCI/CD pipeline design and governanceInfrastructure-as-code (Bicep, ARM, Terraform)
