Job Description Electrician Apprentice:Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Repair: Help install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, motors and control panels for Industrial Woodworking Machinery often working with high-voltage equipment.Conduit & Wiring: Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit, and pull wires through openings.Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing and correcting malfunctions in electrical equipment.Safety & Compliance: Adhere to strict safety procedures, codes (like NEC), and regulations.Tool & Equipment Management: Maintain tools and keep parts and supplies organized.Blueprint Reading: Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.Site Support: Perform general labor, clean work areas, and assist with material handling.Learning & Training: Receive instruction and training from Plant Electrician and Assembly Floor Supervisor.Typical Work EnvironmentFactories, plants, and industrial facilities.Both indoor and outdoor settings, in extreme hot or cold weather.May involve physical tasks like digging trenches or working in confined spaces.Essential Skills & QualificationsStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.Physical stamina for standing, climbing, and lifting.Commitment to learning electrical codes and safety protocols.Good communication and teamwork skills.
