Senior Linux Systems Administrator

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide comprehensive administration and support for multi-platform operating system environments Design and implement automated security hardening solutions to enhance scalability and streamline operating system deployments Configure and maintain host-based security and intrusion detection systems Monitor system performance and investigate detected anomalies to ensure operational integrity Develop and deploy automation scripts to manage server integration and reduce manual configuration errors Analyze system and security logs to identify and respond to real-time events and provide status updates to leadership Conduct regular audits to verify security compliance and identify potential vulnerabilities or configuration gaps Participate in design and review meetings to provide technical insights, project goals, and status updates for managementMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 7+ years of relevant Systems Administration experience; or a High School Diploma/GED with 15+ years of relevant experience. Extensive experience with Linux command line Systems administration and troubleshooting experience Experience utilizing Ansible or Terraform Experience managing enterprise VMware and orchestration Experience with Firewall administration and rules Familiarity with scriptingClearance Requirements: Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph and be willing and able to obtain another polygraph prior to start Physical Requirements : Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as, the copy machine/fax machine/computer/printer
