Sr Platform/Devops Engineer

*Looking for H1B Transfer, GC, USC, H4EAD on our W2 only* *Role:* Senior DevOps Engineer *Location: *Charlotte, NC *Mode of interview: *Ready for in person *Our challenge* We are seeking a highly skilled *Senior Platform / DevOps Engineer* to design, build, automate, and support modern cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in *DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and platform engineering*. The role requires close collaboration with development, security, and operations teams to improve application reliability, scalability, and deployment efficiency. *The Role* *Responsibilities:* * Design, implement, and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure and platform services. * Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments and releases. * Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools. * Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads. * Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for platform reliability and observability. * Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. * Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment, scalability, and performance. * Ensure platform security, compliance, and governance standards are met. * Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis. *Requirements:* * Years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering. * Strong experience with cloud platforms such as *AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)*. * Expertise in *Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration technologies*. * Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as *Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo*. * Strong experience with *Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Pulumi*. * Proficiency in scripting and automation using *Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go*. * Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as *Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog, or New Relic*. * Strong knowledge of Linux administration and networking fundamentals. * Experience implementing DevSecOps and security best practices. *Preferred, but not required:* * Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd. * Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices. * Experience with cloud security, IAM, and compliance frameworks. * Exposure to API gateways, microservices, and event-driven architectures. * Experience with Kubernetes platforms such as EKS, AKS, or GKE. * Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies.
