Research Project Coordinator, Department of Psychology
The Hurd lab in the Department of Psychology is seeking a Research Project Coordinator to assist with the management of a longitudinal study tracking the social, occupational and mental and physical health outcomes of a cohort of young adults who formerly attended UVA.
Responsibilities
Supervision and training of undergraduate research assistants and part-time staff
Tracking and corresponding with participants
Data cleaning and management; data analyses
Managing and coordinating the collection of online surveys and physical health data
Assisting with manuscript preparation and other dissemination efforts
Assisting with research proposals
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience tracking and corresponding with participants
Experience managing and coordinating the collection of online surveys and physical health data
Experience with data cleaning and data management and analysis
Experience assisting with manuscript preparation and other dissemination efforts
Physical Demands
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
Salary Range
The anticipated hiring range is $22.50 - $25.00 hourly ($46,800 - $52,000 annualized) , commensurate with education and experience.

This is a restricted position, which is dependent on funding and is contingent upon funding availability. This position has a term limit of 12 months after which continued employment will depend on department need and funding.
This position is based in Charlottesville, VA, and is eligible for a hybrid schedule, with additional on-site presence as needed, in accordance with UVA's remote work guidelines.
