Engineering Intern
The Engineering Intern will support operations in LaFayette, GA, and may have an opportunity to travel to our corporate location in Washington, PA. The intern will support any/all engineering and operations functions, with primary focus of driving operational efficiency and improvement.Primary tasks and responsibilities:Build of machine trending dashboards that make data access and decision-making points easyUsing current scorecards build out data for AE specific business, evaluate accuracy, and work with engineering and operations team how to applyOil/Rubber Blend process evaluation and how to quantify/qualifyOil/Rubber/Resin ratio study of process influence of melt and hardnessDusting agent evaluation: talc particle size, precipitated fumed silicaDesired Skills:Analytical and data analysisSelf-driven and ability to drive for completionWilling to be hands-on in a manufacturing environmentExceptional teamwork, organization, and communication skillsAt least 2 years of completed coursework in Chemical Engineering or related field of study
