This role will focus on supplier development, commodity management, and sourcing strategy for complex automation builds with over 10K SKUs and 150+ suppliers.Job Duties:Manage sourcing activities for fabricated, machined, electrical, pneumatic, and automation-related componentsDevelop and maintain supplier relationships while negotiating pricing, lead times, and contractsTravel to vendor sites to evaluate capabilities, quality, and performancePartner with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams on custom machine buildsDrive supplier performance, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiativesQualifications:7+ years of sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain experience in manufacturing, automation, OEM machinery, or industrial equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processesExperience managing technical suppliers and engineered componentsERP and Excel proficiency requiredBackground in automation, robotics, or custom machine building preferredExcellent long-term contract opportunity with a highly innovative and fast-paced automation environment.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
