It's a rare opportunity to combine professional growth, personal adventure, and meaningful contribution, all while helping shape the future of northern consulting at WSP.WSP Canada are committed to reconciliation and respectful relationships with Indigenous Peoples and communities where we work, and we encourage Indigenous candidates to apply.ResponsibilitiesRepresent WSP as a trusted advisor across the Iqaluit and Nunavut region, building long-term relationships with clients, communities, and partners.Deliver consulting services across a range of projects, adapting your technical background to diverse and evolving client needs.Be an entrepreneurial minded self-starter who can operate independently in a highly remote location, exercising sound judgement, resilience, and accountability.Act as a seller-doer—supporting business development, identifying opportunities, and contributing to proposal development and client strategy.Engage meaningfully with local communities, ensuring work is informed by regional context, priorities, and relationships.Collaborate with internal teams across Canada, connecting local opportunities to WSP's broader expertise.Wear multiple hats as we build and scale our northern presence, contributing beyond the immediate project at hand.Skills & QualificationsA technical background in engineering, environmental science, project management, or a related consulting discipline, with practical, applied experience.Proven success in client-facing roles, with the ability to manage relationships and deliver value beyond defined scopes.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to connect, influence, and build trust.Experience operating autonomously in remote or resource-constrained environments.A commercial mindset with experience supporting business development or growth initiatives.Adaptability, curiosity, and comfort wearing multiple hats in a growing regional team.CompensationAB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $115,700 – $155,400MB & ON: $105,500 – $147,400NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $104,500 – $140,700The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
